The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show will be the stage for the presentation of the new 80 Sunreef Power, the motor catamaran that Sunreef Yachts has designed for long cruises in maximum comfort. A luxurious motor yacht that represents the essence of design, distinguished by generous living spaces full of natural light.

Luxury and classic solutions

The huge garage and aft Sunreef-Yachts-80-Sunreef-Power-exteriorplatform allow the 80 Sunreef Power to take the tender and jet skis everywhere.
There is a twelve-seat dining table to starboard and a well-equipped bar at the entrance to the forward deck.
With a
beam of 12 metres, the 80 Sunreef Power offers ample space for dining in the aft cockpit.
The huge flybridge of this exclusive catamaran is large enough to accommodate a
Jacuzzi, a wet bar with barbecue and generous seating all around with oversized sundecks.

Sunreef Yachts 80 Sunreef Power- Interior

Sunreef-Yachts-80-Sunreef-Power-interiorThe owner’s suite on the 80 Sunreef Power is spectacular and can be located in the forward section of the main deck. With a double bed overlooking the foredeck, a bathroom with a shower cubicle, dressing room and desk, the space is certainly not lacking in brightness, thanks to the skylight window. The same space can be used to install a large saloon with ample seating and access to the foredeck.

The main saloon opens onto the large aft cockpit to combine the yacht’s internal dining space with the external relaxation areas, where additional seating and a wet bar are available. The saloon, which can be fully customized, can also accommodate a large galley, depending on the layout chosen, and houses a raised interior helm station.

The immense volumes of the 80 Sunreef Power’s hulls offer ample space to adapt the layout of each unit to the most specific requirements. The crew quarters, galley and mess can be accessed directly from the aft cockpit for more privacy on board.

Various layout configurations are available to fit luxurious guest cabins for a supreme level of comfort on board.

Used catamaran? Find it at the Multihull Boat Show

For lovers of catamarans and multihulls, the appointment is from 20 to 23 October 2022 in Canet en Roussillon, for the 7th ‘Occasions du Multicoque et du Refit’, the second-hand multihull and refit show, the only event of its kind dedicated to second-hand cruising multihulls.

Second-hand multihull and catamaran boat show

Catamarans and multihulls always retain their allure over time, so much so that a dedicated show takes place in Canet en Roussillon in deepest France, near the Eastern Pyrenees. This is the second-hand multihull and refit boat show (‘Occasions du Multicoque et du Refit‘), a unique event of its kind dedicated to second-hand cruising multihulls and the ideal place for anyone looking for a second-hand multihull, a second-hand catamaran or a trimaran, whether sailing or motor-powered

Catamaran storage and restoration

catamaran-multhihull-boat-show-2022Canet-en-Roussillon is the home of multihulls not only because Catana/Bali, one of the leaders in the sector, is based here, but also because there are hundreds of multihulls to be refitted or simply to be winterized.

A refit is not only the restoration of a boat, but also its refitting to make it suitable for other uses. This type of work is also very much in vogue in other sectors, such as the automotive industry. For example, a travel lift, 12 metres wide and with a potential lifting capacity of 200 tonnes, has been adapted to take boats with two or three hulls in and out of the water.

Mediterranean Refit Headquarters

In Canet-en-Roussillon, there are some thirty companies specializing in this activity, making it the headquarters of the refit sector in the Mediterranean.

Some thirty second-hand boats are expected at the entrance to the port, at the foot of the new ‘Oniria’ aquarium. This year, the organizers will set up, in parallel with the Boat Show, a forum dedicated to jobs in the nautical sector.

The initiative aims to meet the needs of this burgeoning market, which has generated a huge demand for human resources. It is yet another opportunity to share a passion for yachting and the sea.
