Description

The Chiavari Marina consists of an L-shaped breakwater pier, with a quay extending all the way to the entrance, and an outer pier running along a south-west axis. Piers are located along this outer pier and at the north quay. The south quay is reserved for fishermen and boats in transit; the side quay on the left—located at the head of the entrance pier and marked by a red light—is instead designated for the passage of tourist ferries.

The marina has 9 piers and 2 docks, which together can accommodate 459 berths: 118 berths for boats up to 6 meters in length, 142 berths for boats up to 8 meters, 169 for boats up to 12 meters, 26 for vessels up to 18 meters, and finally 4 berths for vessels with a maximum length of 25 meters. The transit pier, with 12 equipped moorings, can accommodate up to 35 vessels. Onshore, there are also 215 parking spaces available for small boats or cars.

The Tower, located at the head of the west pier, houses the Mooring Attendants, the Administrative Offices, and the Navimeteo Observatory. The mooring attendants are available at any time of day, 7 days a week. The administrative offices, on the other hand, are open during the following hours: Monday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. / 3:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.; Sunday, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout the port area for customers. There are also 63 parking spaces, accessible via a magnetic card. Boaters can use the restrooms and showers; mothers can use the area specifically designated for infant care.
