Chiaia Bay – Procida
The best anchorage on the island of Procida—especially for those who want to spend the night there—is the Chiaia anchorage, a wide bay that opens to the south, adjacent to the small port of Corricella: Procida is the smallest of the Flegree Islands, the most unspoiled and least chaotic of the islands surrounding Naples; with its natural beauty, it captivates visitors with its numerous coves and bays largely untouched by tourists, among which this natural anchorage is particularly striking.
The bay offers a picturesque view thanks to the quaint fishing village of Corricella, where the houses, built close together, are painted in various pastel colors. Here, visitors can find many restaurants where they can stop and enjoy the freshest seafood and authentic local flavors.
Perfectly sheltered from the winds of the 3rd and 4th quadrants, welcoming and with a transparent water sea, the Bay of Chiaia has a sandy seabed with areas of posidonia that holds anchor well.
