A Safe Anchorage at Isola Lunga – Dugi Otok in Croatia
The Brbinj anchorage is located in a cove in the northern part of the island of Dugi Otok, known in Italian as Isola Lunga. For those wishing to visit the islands of the Zadar Archipelago and the Kornati National Park, it is the safest and most convenientport of call, as there are many mooring buoys both to the north and to the south.
This bay is very wide, and there are many ships that stop here especially in the evening, partly because of the particularly renowned seaside restaurants.
From the small pier in the town of Brbinj, facing the anchorage, a ferry departs that connects the island to Zadar. Here, boaters will find a pier with about 8 berths and can stock up on both water and electricity.
