The Porto Conte harbor, located in the area between Bosa and Stintino in northwestern Sardinia, is essentially a natural harbor.
The nearly circular gulf provides shelter from all winds. The sandy seabed, which offers good holding for anchoring, ensures the boat stays secure even in the strongest mistral winds; only southwesterly winds can cause a rip current within this anchorage.
