The Marina degli Aregai marina is located along the coast of the province of Imperia, in the municipality of Santo Stefano al Mare.

This is a modern and efficient marina, inaugurated in 1992, which enjoys an excellent location on the Riviera dei Fiori. It is part of the Cozzi-Parodi Group, a conglomerate of companies operating in western Liguria that is involved in real estate sales, construction, and tourism facilities.
In addition to the Marina degli Aregai, the group has built two other marinas: San Lorenzo al Mare and Portosole, in Sanremo.

The port is protected by a breakwater and an outer jetty approximately 800 meters long. The marina basin is divided into two docks, separated by a quay. The marina is designed to accommodate up to 980 boats at a time, for vessels ranging in length from 6 to 40 meters.

It offers its guests round-the-clock mooring assistance, the ability to refill with drinking water and electricity directly at the dock, and a security service. The marina also features a fueling station, restrooms and showers, a self-service laundry facility, and weather reports issued by the local Harbor Master’s Office.
The area is well sheltered from the wind. However, it is advisable to be mindful of any strong currents coming from the east.

As for shipbuilding and maintenance, the marina offers a shipyard equipped with a travel lift with a maximum lifting capacity of 100 metric tons, several workshops specializing in electronic, mechanical, and sail repairs, a slipway, and an area dedicated to dry docking. The Port of Aregai serves as the backdrop for various regattas and events.

Beyond its role as a marina, Marina degli Aregai serves as a tourist attraction, making it a popular destination not only for boaters but also for those who simply want to enjoy a vacation. In fact, guests can enjoy a residential and hotel complex featuring a conference center and sports facilities. The complex consists of four buildings housing 84 apartments and 22 suites.

In addition, the port area is home to a shopping arcade, which offers a wide selection of stores ranging from tobacconists and clothing to groceries and delicatessens.
For those who want to learn to sail, the marina also has a sailing school. For diving enthusiasts, there’s also a dive shop. The amenities also include a gym, a veterinarian, an electronics store, and numerous boat rental agencies.
The port area also houses restaurants, bars and a pizzeria.

The hotel overlooks a beautiful private beach with fine sand, where guests can enjoy beach amenities such as lounge chairs and umbrellas; the beach is also accessible to people with physical disabilities. The beach is surrounded by a grassy area, where you can find pleasant shaded spots on the hottest summer days.

Located east of the center of Santo Stefano al Mare, the Marina degli Aregai is strategically situated for exploring the Ligurian coast by boat, as well as for trips to the Côte d’Azur or Corsica. In fact, the marina is 20 nautical miles from Menton, 80 nautical miles from Campo Corso, and 85 nautical miles from Calvi. The Genoa airport is about 110 kilometers away, while the Nice airport is about 80 kilometers away. By taking the coastal highway, you can reach Imperia from Marina degli Aregai in just over twenty minutes (about 15 kilometers).
