Description

The Antica Compagnia della Vela is a safe harbor at the mouth of the Magra River, within the Montemarcello Regional Park, a protected natural area. Nearby is the Apuan Alps Park. It is an exceptionally green area, so much so that the port has earned the nickname “garden port”: this small marina epitomizes the perfect integration of the environment, natural resources, and man-made facilities.

The port of the Antica Compagnia della Vela can be considered an ideal starting point for planning itineraries and setting out to explore the surrounding attractions. It is only 3 nautical miles from the islands of Tino and Palmaria and 15 from Forte dei Marmi. The Cinque Terre are just 16 nautical miles away, while Capraia Island and Bastia are 50 and 84 nautical miles away, respectively.

The port has a 120-meter floating dock designed for boats up to 14 meters in length, motorboats, and Rubber Boats. There are also two docks: one 130 meters long and a smaller one 20 meters long. The first is designed for boats and yachts up to 20 meters in length, while the second is reserved for small motorboats. There are a total of 90 berths available in the water.

The marina offers not only in-water moorings but also onshore berths for boat storage. Storage is outdoors and is available for Rubber Boats, Sailing Boats, and Motor Boats up to 16 meters in length. The storage area is located near the water, making it easy to haul boats out of the water and launch them.

The storage service includes: 24/7 video surveillance, electricity and drinking water supply, reserved parking space with attached trolley, toilets and showers, free use of wi-fi internet available throughout the ports.
