The port facility for nautical recreation and tourist landing is located in the heart of the Conero Regional Park along the shores of the Adriatic Sea.
Protecting Numana’s ports are two docked piers and a reef that runs parallel to the nearby beach, on the inner side of which extend 2 concrete piers 20 meters long.
The shoreline area that lies between the north pier and the south pier is banked and equipped with a few piers.
Boats can enter and leave the ports through the southern mouth of the infrastructure, while from the northern mouth they can only leave.
Management of the harbor’s moorings is entrusted to various entities under a concession agreement. The municipality of Numana holds the majority stake.
- Circolo Nautico di Numana S. Massaccesi: they manage the northern area, and have 94 berths.
- Mooring Cooperatives: operate 3 docks for boat mooring and also provide winter repair and storage and hauling services.
- Italian Naval League (LNI): 70 boat moorings arranged on two piers.
- Ferrymen and Fishermen: non-boating associations.
