Description

The Lido di Meina port is a small-to-medium-sized port. Lido di Meina is one of the resorts on Lake Maggiore that attracts large numbers of Italian and foreign tourists. It is located just a few kilometers from the Milano Laghi highway and the various routes leading to Turin.

The lido is completely swimmable and has crystal clear waters, so much so that it is considered one of the cleanest areas in Verbano and even the best bathing area in the entire Lower Lake.

Inside the Lido di Meina, surrounded by beautiful period villas, you can enjoy sports recreational spaces and two small fields: one tennis and one soccer field, uncovered and with synthetic grass.

Lido guests will be able to enjoy the two pools—one outdoor and one with shallow water—as well as the new equipment for the sailing course; they can relax in the beautiful clubhouse, which features terraces overlooking the lake, or participate in the many sports activities frequently organized by the Lido management. The area is lush with greenery and well-maintained.

The marina’s piers consist of floating docks, which offer some permanent berths and others designated for temporary mooring or docking. Currently, there are only 40 berths available, but plans have been proposed to renovate and expand the marina in order to increase its maximum capacity to 140 berths.

The ease of access to the harbor and the ample maneuvering space allow even large boats to move easily within the marina. The seabed, which is sandy in some places and muddy in others, is notably deep.

Boaters will have access to drinking water and restroom facilities provided for customers. In the immediate vicinity of the marina, there is a parking lot for cars and a separate one designated for motorcycles. However, there are no facilities for electricity or wastewater disposal.

The condition of the piers is not currently optimal. However, numerous proposals have been put forward for the redevelopment and renovation of the ports and the surrounding area; the project calls for an expansion of the existing docks to increase the number of available berths to 140.
