Description

The Marina of Porto Conte is located in the Porto Conte bay to the east of Capo Caccia. The marina is located in the southeastern part of Cala Torre del Conte, in the innermost part of Porto Conte. The marina includes a quay, a long quayside breakwater and floating docks.
With a length of about 6 km and a width of 2.5 km, it is considered one of the largest natural ports in the Mediterranean Sea.

Of the 300 berths, 10 are reserved for transit vessels. Due to the shallow waters, it is advisable to navigate within the dredged access channel, which is 4 meters deep. Recreational boaters have access to a fuel pump on the dock, water and electricity hookups, a 30-metric-ton crane, hull and engine repair services, and dry storage. There is a hotel near the marina; to stock up on provisions, head to the town 1.5 km away.

The harbor is located east of the Porto Conte headland, on which stands a white tower with a lighthouse and a large white hotel. The marina is well sheltered from all winds; however, strong northwesterly winds can cause strong surf, making mooring difficult. The area is protected: on land by the Porto Conte Regional Park, and at sea by the Capo Caccia–Isola Piana Marine Protected Area. The water is deep at the entrance and gradually becomes shallower as one moves further into the bay.

La Mugoni Beach The coastline of Porto Conte Park is characterized by fine white sand and emerald-green waters that slope gently out to sea.
