Description

The Nautical Club is located to the right of the breakwater pier of the harborof Marina di Carrara. The port Its entrance faces the Scirocco, and it consists of four docks protected to the east by the Levante pier and to the west by the Ponente pier and the breakwater. Although access is available at any time, caution is advised due to shoals and exposed rocks along the breakwater and at the head of the Levante pier.

The Yacht Club offers 190 berths for boats up to 27 meters in length. The seabed at the dock range from 3.5 to 5.5 meters while in ports they reach up to 10 m. Facilities include a fuel pump, water and electricity hookups, a slipway, a boat ramp, a 15-metric-ton fixed crane, and mobile cranes ranging from 25 to 100 metric tons. Prominent landmarks on approach include the skyscraper east of the harbor, the piers and cranes, as well as the numerous merchant ships at anchor.
