Cantiere del Pardo’s Grand Soleil 72 shines on Capri

There could not have been a better place than the enchanting setting of Capri for the first photo shooting of the brand-new Grand Soleil 72, flagship of the Grand Soleil fleet and the highest expression of Made in Italy that Cantiere del Pardo takes around the world.

Grand Soleil 72 top view
This is an important debut for the Grand Soleil 72, as not only does it officially present to the world this unique project developed by
Cantiere del Pardo together with Franco Corazza, as Project Manager, Matteo Polli in charge of naval architecture, and Nauta Design for the interiors, it also opens the way to the launch of a new range of sailing yachts over 60 feet long.
That there was a lot of expectation behind this moment had already been perceived at the launch, which took place at the
Cannes Yachting Festival 2022, and a few months later here was the first recognition at the Genoa Boat Show where the Grand Soleil 72 won the Design Innovation Award in the category of sailing yachts longer than 10 metres: a totally Made in Italy design path, created by a team of professionals representing Italian excellence in the international boating sector.

Grand Soleil 72, sustainability and attention to details

Sustainability is now an imperative. This is why Cantiere del Pardo has chosen materials characterised by a high degree of recyclability and aiming at the lowest possible environmental impact, meticulously assembled thanks to the yard’s experience, matured over 50 years of history, which in addition to refined aesthetic lines, seeks perfection in every detail.

And so mention must be made of the hull, whose shapes designed by Matteo Polli are characterised by a pronounced V-bow; and also of its dynamic length, which, thanks to its slender lines and low wetted surface area, makes it possible to reduce friction while sailing, offering greater dynamic speed and stability when the boat is heeling.

Grand Soleil 72 wheels

The quality of the hull cannot be overlooked: it is made using an epoxy-based vacuum infusion process of vinylester resin in biaxial fibreglass and unidirectional carbon fabrics, which make it possible to obtain a light and resistant hull. It is also very strong and rigid thanks to the longitudinal and transversal structures of the most stressed areas of the hull, which are laminated in fibreglass and stiffened by unidirectional carbon reinforcements.

A well-balanced yacht both in terms of performance and navigation but also in terms of the elegance that accompanies owners and guests as they share splendid spaces of all-Italian refinement.

Dreamlike interiors, quality and elegance

interiorNow the interior. Let’s start with the structure, where all the bulkheads are weighed one by one, defining the thickness of each one ad hoc to optimize strength, lightness and performance.

The signature is by Nauta Design, which has conceived and refined every volume and detail of the deck and interiors, in walnut or oak, to exploit all the spaces, thus achieving a coherent and holistic relationship between them.

Everything here is calibrated to superyacht standards but still seeking a sober, fresh and welcoming style, the heart of which is definitely the living room. An elegant sharing space and meeting point consisting on the one hand of an L-shaped sofa with a dining table that comfortably seats up to six people, and on the other of a U-shaped sofa that extends to the chart area. The Performance version also has a galley positioned laterally towards the stern.

Last but not least the light, Cantiere del Pardo master cabinwhich envelops every room leaving an incredible view of the sea in every space, connecting man and the environment into one. A concept that is destined to evolve and adapt more and more to the needs of individual owners in a made-to-measure approach, which will be the basis of the new project that Cantiere del Pardo has launched in the over 60 foot market segment.

Tradition and attention to detail, these are the mantras of those who aim to achieve the highest standards in the boating sector.

Absolute Yachts fascinates fans with “Navetta 75 and 48 Coupé” double USA debut at FLIBS

Absolute Yachts , double USA debut at FLIBS

Absolute Yachts: Navetta 75 – The Absolute Sphere

Fans of the Absolute Yachts brand took their first look at the flawlessly executed flagship Navetta 75 in American waters on Face Dock 5F at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, now in its 63rd year. Sharing its name with a unique shape – the Absolute Sphere – makes some wish they listened more in math class. Thanks to the Italian shipyard, geometric forms have never looked this good, so much so… when unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the Navetta 75 captured the Best Interior Design award at the exclusive World Yachts Trophies 2022.

absolute yachts navetta 75 Stateside, the crowd continued to be wowed by the Absolute Sphere’s style emulating perfection, wholeness and harmony in a pure and perfect form demonstrated by: the large windows and high ceilings; single level design architecture which offers the ultimate reward in comfort; and incorporating a new tradition bordering the aft terrace with transparent glass parapets that deliver a view to the big blue, which in all certainty, beats the former fiberglass configuration.

Three more appealing accouterments receiving much admiration include: the inclusion of the modular furniture which allows you to personalize the aft to your own will; separate stairways to and from the bow and stern making it a breeze to pass from the main deck to the flybridge, which itself boasts of a newly designed helm station; and lastly, the overall aesthetics of the main deck as the natural light filtering through accentuates the fine woods and fabric wall coverings.

Absolute Yachts: 48 Coupé – The Absolute Horizon

absolute-yachts-48-coupe-esterni-4Sporty in styling and stocky in her stance – the 48 Coupé which is Absolute Yachts’s second new FLIBS debut has too, dazzled those in her USA pathway. Based on the 47 FLY, Absolute Yachts has gone full circle returning to its roots with the 48 Coupé Absolute Horizon; it’s also going to great lengths to lower its carbon footprint. A set of flexible monocrystaline silicon, double-glazed solar panels have been integrated into the hardtop, one of which is transparent to allow the flow of natural light but limit the heat, so as to, not turn the room into an oven.

Absolute’s pledge to sustainability is beyond venerable, seeing that, these fabrications are not generally found on vessels under 50 feet. Remember too, that by using the panels and embracing solar technology as a form of power, rewards boaters peace and quiet at anchor sans le générateur (that’s the generator for those in doubt).

48-coupe-interni-1What’s more, the motor yacht categorized as a sport cruiser captivates her onboard audience with an aft cockpit and swim platform, voiced by many to be comparable in magnitude to the 60 FLY. Aft area comparisons aside, one thing is for sure – nothing compares to the infinite and unobstructed “Absolute Horizon” view offered to you. And with that said, let’s see what Absolute has on its horizon…

52 FLY – Absolute Direction

An Absolute Yachts press conference is as exciting as a World Cup soccer match, you don’t know what to expect when it starts, but can guarantee you’ll be left speechless. Such was the case when CCO Cesare Mastroianni and Rob Bowman, director of US-based affairs, presented the upcoming 52 FLY – The Absolute Direction to the marine press corps.

52-FLY-esterni-4Set to enter the water world at the Miami International Boat Show this coming February of 2023, the 52 FLY expresses, or shall I say advances, the award-winning builder’s ability to incorporate extraordinary livability into a denser dimension. For example, two hallmarks of the range will include a flybridge with a stern terrace and spacious cockpit terrace linked to the saloon and galley; and a foredeck with settee, table and sunbed.

The International Yachting Media will be counting down the four months we must wait in order to see what “DIRECTION” Absolute Yachts has chosen for the 52 FLY. What is already crystal clear from the preprimary renderings – it’s certain to generate the same cheer as your team scoring that winning World Cup goal!

Pardo GT75, the latest Pardo Yachts’ 23-metre addition

At the Cannes Yachting Festival 2022, Pardo Yachts unveiled its new flagship, the Pardo GT75, which is positioned between the Walkaround and Endurance ranges.

Pardo GT75, a villa on the high seas

Pardo-GT75The new high-performance 75-footer is the new flagship of the Pardo Yachts fleet and is positioned between the Walkaround and Endurance ranges.

The spaces and volumes of the latest GT from the Forlì-based shipyard have been designed for those owners who want to live the yacht like a floating villa in total relaxation, with interiors and exteriors suitably designed to enjoy a privileged sailing experience.

Versatility is one of the GT75’s key features: compared to her little sister the GT52, the Pardo GT75 increases the layout possibilities, both for interior and exterior spaces.

The communication of these spaces materializes thanks to the aft door, which can be fully opened combined with the roof in semi-open mode, the sliding doors to both passages and the side windows that can be opened.

The deep-V hull guarantees both safety at sea and sailing comfort, while maintaining a special focus on sustainability: the aim is always to create a perfect harmony with the environment in which the owners will be sailing.

Four different engines while waiting for the hybrid

The lines of the Pardo GT75 have been designed by Zuccheri Yachts Design, while the Nauta Design studio has handled the interiors and exteriors. There is a wide range of engines available: starting with the standard 3 x D13 IPS 900 and then going up to the 1050, 1200 or 1350, with an engine room already prepared for the Volvo hybrid engine upgrade, a solution that allows high performance to be achieved with a reduced impact on the marine environment.

A configuration for everyone

At the Cannes Yachting Festival thePardo-GT75_Tender-garage two aft area layouts of the Pardo GT75 were unveiled, enhancing its versatility.

The “Tender” version, as the name suggests, can accommodate a tender in the garage underneath the sundeck, which is raised by an electric mechanism.

In the “Beach” version, the entire aft area is transformed into a terrace overlooking the sea, from which there is private access to the owner’s cabin. This is a true suite furnished and designed with extreme care, with a privileged view of breathtaking panoramas and awakenings. When the aft deck is uncluttered, it can be fitted out as desired, with free-standing furnishings making the space even more versatile: beach area by day, terrace overlooking the sea for cocktails and parties at sunset.

Both configurations include the option of fold-down side terraces, which increase the space on board the Pardo GT75 even further. The walkaround character of the new Pardo Yacht flagship is reflected in the side decks, which rise up to deck level to create a very large flush area for relaxation in the bow, where there is a living area with a C-shaped sofa, a table and a generous sundeck amidships.

Elegant and functional interior

The main deck of the Pardo GT75 combines aesthetic and functional features, to guarantee comfort on board even during long cruises, especially when there are guests, who are welcomed by high quality materials and bright environments, thanks to the presence of large windows. On the GT75 too, the interiors are available in a galley-up or galley-down version, to allow the owner to experience the yacht either in a more convivial or more private manner.

In the galley-up version, the main deck features a superbly equipped galley, in front of which a comfortable L-shaped sofa with dining table can accommodate up to 7 guests. The connection with the outdoor dining area in the cockpit makes the main deck one large space to be enjoyed at all times of the day.

In the galley-down layout, on the other hand, the main deck houses a huge living area, equipped with large sofas, which, thanks to the roof in semi-open mode, the side windows and the sliding aft door, provides guests with continuous contact with the sea. In this version, the well-equipped galley is located below deck amidships, allowing the boat to be enjoyed throughout the year.

Exclusive and quiet sleeping zone

owner's cabinThe layout of the lower deck is no less versatile and different solutions have been designed for the sleeping area as well.

As already mentioned the owner’s cabin in the “Beach” version becomes a real suite, while in the “Tender Garage” version, on the other hand, the same cabin is accessible from the internal staircase, like the rest of the sleeping area.

Space varies according to requirements: the lower deck configuration is designed to accommodate two, three or four cabins, for a total of 10 berths (including a double crew cabin). The standard version of the yacht is the three-cabin, three-bathroom configuration, where the study of the environments has led to the creation of balanced and furnished spaces worthy of larger yachts.

The shipyard’s various proposals designed for this 75 footer make it possible to enjoy the time spent on board in direct contact with the sea in an elegant and exclusive setting.

Pardo GT75: open soul, utmost comfort

But there’s more beyond the premiere of the GT75: in fact, at Pardo Yachts, development has already begun on the Pardo 75, which will be the T-Top version of the flagship. This is a completely open model, which follows the evolution of the Walkaround range.

Navetta 75 and 48 Coupé: two Italian premieres to be discovered at FLIBS 2022

Absolute Yachts will be exhibiting two unmissable premieres at the upcoming Fort Lauderdale Boat Show.

Absolute Yachts’ latest additions

First official presentation in the US for Absolute Yachts‘ new Generation 2023 models at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2022, Florida. The Piacenza-based shipyard will be exhibiting four boats: the Navetta 75, 68 and 52 as representatives of the Navetta range and the 48 Coupé.

Navetta 75 – The Absolute Sphere, debuting in the States, is the flagship of the range and the perfect combination of stylistic and technological creativity. Navetta 68 – The Absolute Vision combines comfort and elegance, space and safety, innovation and personality, while Navetta 52 – The Absolute Appeal offers significantly greater liveability than other yachts of a similar size. 48 Coupé – The Absolute Horizon will also make her debut at FLIBS, characterized by a sporty look and high level of comfort on board.

These intriguing yachts will certainly attract large crowds, moreover right during one of the busiest boat shows in the world. But if you would like to secure the opportunity to go on board and admire Absolute Yachts’ new boats in preview and with due calm, you can write an email to:  A quick and easy way not to miss this unrepeatable opportunity.

Absolute Navetta 75

Absolute-navetta-75-side-viewNavetta 75 is the flagship of the Absolute fleet: the spherical shape was chosen to represent the quest for perfection and harmony that the shipyard has followed in designing this new craft. As in a sphere, in fact, Navetta 75 contains the best of all the Absolute products that preceded it and the most representative characteristics of the shipyard’s style: technological inventiveness and stylistic sophistication, in an absolute balance of excellence and completeness.

The 23-metre yacht created by Absolute Yachts features large windows, high ceilings, rooms designed on a single level and a full-beam forward master cabin with private access from the main saloon and en-suite bathroom. The boat features sliding doors and generous storage compartments.

The captain’s and crew quarters, designed aft, are versatile in space and use and can accommodate up to three berths, with en-suite facilities and private galley. The exterior spaces are optimized to provide the highest level of versatility and ease of movement on board. Thanks to the modular furnishings and the absence of fixed structural elements, the flybridge and cockpit areas can easily adapt to different needs, ensuring a truly unique and all-encompassing on-board experience.

Absolute 48 Coupé

The 48 Coupé is a Absolute-48-Coupé15-metre yacht with a sporty soul and a configuration focused on comfort, versatility and sustainability. Not surprisingly, the Coupé 48 produces energy thanks to the solar panels integrated in the roof, one of which is transparent and designed to allow pleasant natural lighting, like the air: to avoid operating the air conditioning and consuming additional energy, the large side windows that embrace the entire deck can be opened to cool the rooms, offering a spectacular perspective from inside the boat.

The glass windows of the Absolute Yachts Coupé 48 provide unparalleled scenery, including from the saloon and even from the helm station. The exterior furnishings can be combined in different configurations, adapting to the many needs on board. Below deck there is no lack of comfort thanks to three comfortable cabins for living the boat freely.

The event of the year

The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show takes place from 26 to 30 October 2022 in Florida. It is the largest in-water boat show in the world. It takes four numbers (and not just a figure of speech) to justify this claim: $1.79 billion in economic impact, more than a hundred thousand expected participants, 1000 brands present, and more than 1300 boats on display.

For five days, the city of Florida will be at the centre of the boating world, because the industry’s most eagerly awaited event also includes shows, conventions, sea trials, water shows, culinary experiences and exclusive moments.

Jeanneau Yachts 55, the sailing boat family expands

Jeanneau Yachts 55: a new boat for offshore sailing enthusiasts to be launched in 2023.

A new concept in the world of Jeanneau Yachts

The Jeanneau Yachts 55 is the French boatbuilder’s new 55-foot offshore sailing yacht, expanding the family currently consisting of 54-, 60- and 65-foot models. Its official presentation is expected in January 2023, at the Düsseldorf Boat Show.

The French boat builder’s new sailboat is designed for sailors who like open waters and who are looking for a smooth and quiet cruising experience, thanks also to its generous and refined living spaces. This 17-metre long sailing yacht is distinguished by elegant and modern lines, with an outward-facing layout designed for the owner’s well-being and privacy.

Jeanneau Yachts 55: the owner-oriented experience par excellence

A genuine expression of Jeanneau’s know-how, the new 55-foot sailing yacht is the result of a collaboration with French naval architect Philippe Briand and the London-based Winch Design studio.

The flush cockpit is divided into two distinct spaces and boasts three walkways, two of which provide private access to the guest cabins.

The bow houses the double helm station and an external chart table with GPS display and autopilot control, protected by a large wraparound windscreen and hard top that guarantees perfect navigation in all seasons and at all latitudes. The mainsail is available in both classic and furling versions, the canopy is standard and an optional fixed windscreen is offered to ensure maximum protection of the forward cockpit.

A sea of comfort

The Jeanneau Yachts 55 is designed like a floating flat on the open sea: the deck space is ample and optimized to meet all requirements, thanks to a length of 16.99 metres and a width of 4.99.

The aft cockpit is entirely dedicated to relaxation, with sofas on both sides – one U-shaped and one L-shaped – and with tables and benches that transform into a real full-beam lounge. It is also equipped with a huge retractable hydraulic bathing platform, allowing direct access to the water for swimming, to the delight of everyone on board.

The forward cockpit provides access to the two guest cabins, as well as the gangway leading to the immense owner’s suite. The flush deck features integrated, wraparound side-decks that are slightly wider, making it easier to move around the cockpit perimeter.

Maximum protection of the living spaces has been equally well considered. For long offshore cruising, in addition to the wraparound windscreen, Jeanneau has imagined a true cocoon, with a hard top that completely encloses the bow rudder, as well as the possibility of installing a hard top with solar panels and a bimini to shelter the aft living space, dedicated to relaxation.

Generous interior spaces

To starboard, a large galley overlooks a large L-shaped saloon. The windows in the hull and deck hatches are designed to let in maximum light and offer a spectacular view of the sea. Handrails and numerous handholds contribute to safe and easy movement on board while underway.

The master cabin is a real cocoon of well-being, with a large port berth, numerous storage compartments and a dressing table. The ceiling treatment and indirect lighting create a warm atmosphere. The head uses the forward beam. An optional skipper’s cabin can be added.

Guests enjoy exclusive access to the cabin from the forward cockpit. The two cabins with double beds each have their own private bathroom and are furnished with fine woods in shades that can be customised to suit the chosen atmosphere.

Wherever you are on board the Jeanneau Yachts 55 you can feel the shipyard’s attention to detail: the leather-covered door handles, for example, do not go unnoticed.

Power and easy handling

On board this modern yacht, with a draft of 2.45 m (or 1.95 m with a shallow draft), the owner can choose between two possible rigging options: classic or with a furling mast. Jeanneau’s main goal is to simplify and maximise sailing performance, offering a reliable, all-weather rigging.

The owner can also choose between a self-tacking jib or a classic genoa. A code 3, for crosswinds between 15 and 20 knots of true wind, can be fixed on the bowsprit. When entering or leaving port, the bow and stern thrusters greatly facilitate short-haul manoeuvres.

YachtSense ecosystem, boat automation according to Raymarine

Imagine managing all the basics of your boat from a simple smartphone app, with all the simplicity of use that comes with it. That’s Raymarine YachSense Ecosystem, the new ecosystem developed by Raymarine, designed for both on-board and remote monitoring of on-board ecosystems and beyond. YachtSense Ecosystem is made up of the new Raymarine app, launched last August on IOS and soon to be available on Android, and the YachtSense Link, a marinized network router that is non-trivial, however, performing many useful functions by interfacing with the app.

Our YachtSense Ecosystem offers a connected boating solution for every boater,” Raymarine vice president and general manager Gregoire Outters says – Our Axiom owners can take advantage of the new Raymarine app, and the YachtSense Link router will keep them connected with the security of remote vessel monitoring. For our boatbuilder partners, the YachtSense Ecosystem is a comprehensive and bespoke digital control solution offering new-boat owners seamless on board and off-boat control and monitoring”.

The new App

raymarine plotterThe beating heart of the integration between YachtSense Ecosystem and the Axiom displays is the new application available since last August that provides an easy way to connect new devices, configure and edit the boat’s profile, back up and transfer waypoints and other data and synchronise Axiom charts, but that’s not all. Thanks to it, your smartphone will become an extension of your chartplotter, allowing you to mirror it from wherever you are. To unlock certain advanced features, you have to subscribe to a subscription, the cost of which varies according to your needs:

  • € 21.5 per month, € 95 for six months or € 175 per year to manage a single boat
  • € 35 per month, € 230 for 6 months, € 350 per year to manage up to 3 boats

The Geofence function is particularly useful. It allows you to monitor your boat from home and set up a safety zone around it, receiving an alert on your mobile phone should the boat leave the set perimeter.

YachtSense ecosystem: the marine network router

YachtSense Link is a YachtSense-ecosystem-operationmarine router equipped with Raynet Ethernet ports, mobile broadband connectivity, on-board Wi-Fi and low voltage monitoring/activation channels.

Supporting two SIM cards for data connection, the router will automatically use the one with the best connection. YachtSense Link allows Raymarine Axiom displays, mobile devices and other wireless devices such as smart TVs to be connected to the local marina Wi-Fi and create a unified on-board Wi-Fi network.

The list price is €1,395.00, making it a great low-cost solution for creating a boat automation system with the novo YachtSense eco system.

Now imagine being able to simply say “Alexa, turn on the stabilizer” or “Alexa, what is the fuel level?“. Believe it or not, this will also be possible, in fact, an integration with the famous Amazon assistant is already planned and we will be able to see it in operation as early as the next METS in Amsterdam.

Merry Fisher 1295 Fly and Cap Camarat 10.5 CC: Jeanneau launches its 2023 flagships

Jeanneau ‘s two additions join the DB/43, a daily boat presented in Cannes last March, and affirm Jeanneau’s international expansion. The aim of these two powerful new powerboats is twofold: to increase the yard‘s appeal in the American markets and strengthen its position in the European one.

Two exclusive new entries for Jeanneau

Motor- or sail-powered,Jeanneau-Cap-Camarat-10.5-CC sporty or elegant, Jeanneau boats are designed to experience the sea depending on the way you feel about it.

The French boat builder has made a name for itself with its modern motorboats, always in step with the latest trends. This is shown by the latest powerboat unveiled this spring, as well as the first highly anticipated Day Boat Premium from the Jeanneau shipyard, the DB/43, unveiled for the first time in the beautiful setting of Villefranche-sur-Mer (France) and received with great enthusiasm.

Building on this success, Jeanneau is anticipating the 2023 arrival of two new flagships from the historic Merry Fisher and Cap Camarat lines: the Merry Fisher 1295 Fly and the Cap Camarat 10.5 CC, which are already expected to be on display at the next autumn 2022 boat shows.

helm stationAs always in exteriorthese cases, expectations are very high, especially after the excellent feedback from the high-end DB/43 daily cruiser, featuring an ingenious open design and glossy finish.

The French brand is a newcomer to the high-end day cruiser scene, but it has been able to achieve immediate positive results with the DB/43 and its distinctive features: a clean design, an open and airy deck plan and high comfort thanks to the layout of the interiors, fittings and finishes, which enable the best possible experience of the sea, with elegance, comfort and versatility.

In fact, the DB/43 is designed for anyone looking for relaxed cruising, but also the freedom of a dive on the high seas, the conviviality of friendship and the intimacy of family.

Jeanneau Merry Fisher 1295 Fly

The Jeanneau Merry Fisher cockpit1295 Fly is a high-end, powerful motor yacht whose quality is evident in even the smallest details, such as the exteriors designed to offer a superlative quality of life.

Indeed, the exteriors are designed to ensure total relaxation for the whole family: just look at the generous aft cockpit overlooking the sea. A spacious, electrically-controlled starboard terrace can be opened out, providing easy access to the sea for swimming, while a large door to port facilitates easy access on board.

In the bow, three sunbeds are integrated directly into the deck, which is an innovative layout for a 40-foot flybridge yacht.

jeanneau flybridge helm stationThe flybridge provides additional space for relaxation, with its U-shaped saloon boasting a refrigerator and optional galley, a generous sundeck and a fully equipped helm station.

The interior is no less impressive, created with a desire to offer high standards of comfort, storage capacity and optimal on-board movement.

The galley is entirely open to the aft cockpit for ease of movement and communication between living spaces.

The large door to starboard, aligned with the pilot’s seat, provides easy access to the recessed side deck and forward cockpit.

The saloon, Jeanneau-Merry-Fisher-1295-Fly-interiorembellished with fine finishes, is bright and provides a panoramic view.

Lastly, the three cabins offer a safe level of comfort for the well-being of all guests on board: both the forward captain’s cabin and the two guest cabins have a private head with a separate shower.

The Jeanneau Merry Fisher 1295 Fly is powered by three Yamaha 300HP outboards, powerful but designed to plane even at moderate speeds, with attention to fuel consumption and on-board comfort.

Elegance and comfort cannot do without technology, which is not lacking on this French flybridge, as can be seen from the dual GPS screen on the interior helm station, while the three Yamaha’s are combined with the latest joystick and autopilot technology.

On request, the Merry Fisher 1295 Fly can also be fitted with a generator, air conditioning, a Seakeeper gyro stabilizer and a hydraulic gangway.

Jeanneau Cap Camarat 10.5 CC

The Cap Camarat 10.5 CC is the largest powerboat in the Cap Camarat Centre Console range ever built by the French shipyard.

It is designed for a range of activities, such as water sports, fishing and sunbathing. It combines a sophisticated design, a versatile deck layout and remarkable cruising performance, with four berths on 34 feet (the only one in its class).

The French Cap_Camarat_10.5_CC-Jeanneaupowerboat shares the hull of the Cap Camarat 10.5 WA Series2, designed by Michael Peters, and the high-tech injection construction technique.

Its elongated sporty lines are by Sarrazin Design.

It is powered by powerful twin engines of 300 hp or 425 hp, and with joystick control, navigation is quick and easy to ensure maximum fun and pleasure at the helm.

On board,, the emphasis is on comfort and quality of life.

On the outside, the deck is designed for versatile use, whether for fishing or for moments of pure relaxation.

The aft benches are foldable and offer optimal space for all marine activities. Forward of the console, a large sofa allows two people to be seated in comfort, both when at anchor and at sea, and can also be opened up for better ventilation inside.

The flush deck allows easy movement around the console, unobstructed.

boat interiorFor swimmers, a huge port door allows direct access to the water, with an integrated ladder.

The Jeanneau Cap Camarat 10.5 CC also makes it easy to transport your catch on fishing trips and access the boat. When cruising, with three seats at the helm, the driver enjoys an ideal central position.

The interior is bright and spacious: in fact, it is the only 34-foot Centre Console to offer four comfortable berths.

The forward saloon converts into a berth, the head compartment has a separate shower and the aft cabin offers a comfortable double berth.

The equipment is designed to satisfy even the most demanding owner: the standard T-top shelters crew members from the sun, but sunshades are also available on request. Sunbathers will appreciate the large convertible sundecks fore and aft, while for those who prefer fishing trips, the leaning post offers all the equipment desired to share a pleasant moment together: an outside kitchen with a fridge, a grill and a livewell to keep the catch fresh!

Tecnorib at the Genoa Boat Show with three jaw-dropping boats

Tecnorib models, from the entry level to the most equipped one, will be on display and available for sea trials

For TecnoRib, the official licensee of the Pirelli brands for inflatable boats, 2022 is definitely a year of news. With the recent merger in December 2021, in which it joined forces with Sacs, thus becoming Sacs TecnoRib, it has created one of the largest producers of maxi rib and superboats in Italy.

At the Genoa Boat Show, which will take place from 22 to 27 September, the visitors of the Tecnorib booth will have the opportunity to admire this year’s flagship models.

Let’s see them in detail:

Pirelli 50Novelty number one: after the huge success at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the top jewel, the super-equipped PIRELLI 50, will be presented for the first time in Italian waters.

The most developed model to date, both in terms of performance and design, it is capable of giving the best driving sensation ever experienced.

There will be two models on display: one at the Sacs TecnoRibs booth with complete fittings and Mercury outboards of 600 hp each, the other, more basic, at the Mercury Marine booth at quay A.

It definitely deserves the number one spot in the Walkarounds line, for its ample exterior space, both fore and aft, and for the comfortable and elegant living quarters below deck featuring a dinette with double cabin and a refined head. It is not only beautiful, it is also extremely high-performance, with an impressive grip on the water and a raised helm station equipped with comfortable seating.

Customizable with different engine options, it offers days of relaxation and fun thanks to the large sunbathing area and the high level of comfort on board without giving up the thrill of ploughing through the waters at a truly impressive speed.

Novelty number two: Tenorib-Pirelli-42it was the first model to be launched, almost three years ago: the PIRELLI 42.

Thanks to a single central block that incorporates the sundeck, it guarantees maximum freedom of movement on board, enjoying time at sea with the solarium, both fore and aft, and thanks also to the living area, with its sofa and dining table. What’s more, the lower deck offers a convertible dinette and a lovely head, all in modern style and harmonious design. Like the previous model, this one too can be customised and various engines can be installed. The one on display at the show will have twin Mercury outboard engines, 450 hp each.

Two doesn’t come without three, and here is the latest newcomer of the year from Sacs TecnoRib: the PIRELLI 35

Tecnorib-Pirelli-35It is the entry-level model, already the winner of the Red Dot Design Award 2022, a prestigious international prize awarded by a jury of 50 design experts. There is no doubt about it, it is definitely a masterpiece of design and functionality.

The model on display at the Genoa Boat Show will be powered by a two engines, 300 hp each, but it will be customisable, with sterdrive propulsion available as well. The performance is high, the quality and comfort exceed all expectations, and the incredible stability on the water in different weather conditions is amazing.

Below deck, the owner can enjoy a convertible dinette and a head on request, while the helm station is comfortable and sheltered, usable in all conditions.

These three inflatable boats, designed for a wide range of owners, are suitable for versatile use, guaranteeing excellent performance and dreamy design. The only thing left for you to do is to test them at sea: at the Sacs TecnoRib H209 booth, it will be possible to carry out sea trials with each of these little gems.

There is little to say in the face of these results, when design meets performance there is no history… and here, we can say it, rubber makes a difference.

NOAH 70: from the success of the Franchini MIA series comes the new flagship presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival

We have a comprehensive knowledge of the MIA 63. Now, it is the turn of the shipyard’s new flagship, the NOAH 70, unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2022. It is a “crossover” capable of satisfying all those who want to experience the sea on long cruises. At first glance it is reminiscent of the line designed by Massimo Franchini for the first sport cruiser, which we have already tested, thus promising to be an excellent product in itself. NOAH 70 is sporty and fast but does not compromise on cruising range, comfort and spaciousness.

The Franchini shipyard underwayhas over 70 years of history behind it, during which it has designed and built over 400 boats, all still sailing, using its experience, tradition and seriousness.

NOAH 70 will be built following the same principles that have guided the yard all these years.

At 20 metres overall, the yacht encloses 5 double cabins, each with its private head, and no lack of storage space.

The layout, however, provides a choice between 4 and 5 cabins, including crew quarters, gaining extra space for the other areas on board.

The latter enjoy wide horizons, both outside and inside, while dividing the various spaces according to their function, while the furnishings are both functional and sober. The overall design is clean, offering a constant relationship with the surrounding sea and nature.

NOAH 70 can be fitted with both the innovative Volvo IPS and the more traditional shaftdrive propulsion, contributing, together with the weight distribution on board, to stability, safety and comfort on board. We can’t wait to test Franchini’s new flagship. In the meantime you can read our MIA 63 test if you haven’t done so yet.
