    For sale: Barberis Show 38 from 1983, IOR design by Fontana–Maletto–Navone, in my ownership since 2007.

    Boat maintained and upgraded over the years, prioritizing structure, reliability, safety and sailing performance over purely cosmetic interventions. Tiller steering, 3 cabins, convertible dinette, certified for 8 persons.

    Lombardini LDW 1003 engine from 2015, approximately 1,000 hours, shaft line and 3-blade feathering MaxProp fully overhauled in 2016. Tibermast mast 2008, stainless steel chainplates 2008, complete rigging 2021 and textile backstay 2021. During the rigging work, mast wiring was also redone in tinned copper and LED navigation/anchor lights and dedicated headsail illumination installed. Navtec hydraulic system for backstay, vang and baby-stay, overhauled in 2021. 8 winches, sheets and halyards in Dyneema, turning blocks with high-performance rings/SectoRing, Unibow bowsprit with integrated anchor support.

    Sails included: full-batten laminate mainsail 2018 on track and cars, Palmatec laminate jib April 2026 practically new with tack points and reef point, OneSail nylon Code 0 and staysail on removable textile stay.

    Electronics: Raymarine EV-100 Tiller, i70s/p70, wind/log/depth, GPS, Em-Trak B953 AIS, Cobra DSC VHF, Furuno radar, SeaTalkNG network and NMEA0183/Signal K Wi-Fi gateway for use with tablet, smartphone or PC. 2 x 100 W solar panels with Victron MPPT + wind generator, Victron ArgoFET 200-2, Victron inverter. 250 L water, 90 L diesel, water heater, ENO 2-burner galley with oven, cockpit refrigerator with new compressor 2024. Stainless steel 3FOIL anchor, 60 m calibrated 8 mm chain, Lofrans 1000 W with remote control. ACR GlobalFix EPIRB and 8-person life raft. RINA 2030.

    In 2019 underwater hull completely stripped to bare substrate, removing old antifouling layers, and 3 coats of V-Shield epoxy applied; Randex seacocks 2020 and rudder bushings 2023.

    The boat has not undergone a complete cosmetic restoration and shows finishes consistent with her age; over the years investments have been focused on structural, mechanical and sailing-functional aspects.
